Kokeshi Postcard Set (10)

It's difficult to capture the full range of an exhibition with over 300 artifacts and nearly the same number of artists represented, but this postcard set gives you a select view of pieces from all three sections of the exhibition, Kokeshi: From Folk Art to Art Toy was a LATDA collaboration with the Japanese American National Museum (July 11 - October 4, 2009). Learn more about the exhibition here  Pictured on these cards are traditional kokeshi from the collection of Itske and Anthony Stern; contemporary art pieces by David Svenson, Phoebe Washer and James Watts; and works from the Custom Kokeshi section (curated by Christina Conway) by Lorena Alvarez, Catherine Brooks, egg scissors, Samuel Ribeyron, and Amy Sol. Each postcard measures 4" x 6"
