Recycled Plastic Clonette Doll

These dolls are descendants of the first industrially-produced dolls in Africa. Renamed “Clonette” by the founders of Facteur Celeste and Filles de Facteur when they revived the manufacture of these dolls from recycled plastic bags. The doll has become a source of fair trade income that since 2012, has financed the schooling and health of women and children in Burkina Faso.

Mid-century fashion details in the dress and the stuffed bunny animal add to the quirky charm of this doll. Comes in a variety of colors and squeaks when you squeeze it. Squeaker makes it not suitable for very small children. 7.5 inches tall.  New Colors: Creamy Apricot, Light Pink, Pale Yellow, Vintage Orange, Grey, Red, Green, Blue, Purple.
